Mercedes X-Class

So here we have it; I tried to be a little quicker, more dynamic and artistic on this render. I think it worked well but would love to know what you think, 

The design is pretty out there and the X-Class introduces Mercedes to the (ever expanding) supercar market. 

Making progress - 488 GTB alternative

So we're gradually getting there. As per usual, this Ferrari started off as a rough sketch but had great potential, so I used it to develop my rendering skills. 

Similar in size to the 488 GTB, it would make a great 458 replacement. Let me know what you think.

It's been a while. Here's a Jag.

It's been a while. A long while. But I'm designing/sketching/rendering again and I'm loving it. Photoshop used to be my biggest enemy, however, I'm currently loving spending time in it. My skills have come on a fair bit since my last post and they can only get better. 

The image above is a baby Jaguar XF I sketched off the cuff. Maybe it's the direction Jaguar is headed, maybe not. But it was good practice and looks pretty good I think.

12 Months 12 Briefs. 1/12

So a new year long project has started. Comprising of 12 mini design projects, 1 each month, the aim is to explore every aspect of design and widen my skillset.


So here's number 1; more graphic design focused, but commissioned by a friend running a drift racing team. These 2 logos are currently in their final stages but plans as to how they will be used will remain under wraps for the time being.

Next gen Audi TT

Love it or hate it, the Audi TT is well designed. Which is why I felt the need to bring it up to date with Audi's current (and projected) brand DNA. Ok, so this is no deep design study, but it did start on a post-it note as always. Its neither a polished design/sketch/render but you get the general gist of the design and I guess we'll have to just compare it when the next gen Audi TT arrives. Thoughts and comments lavishly appreciated. 

Post-it Note Supersports

Another day and another post-it note sketch. This was a quick doodle which I thought may hold some potential so I decided to add it to 'the pile' and re-draw it on A4. So a biro sketch, second time around is what you see. It could be revised, refined and rendered but I think the biro makes it stand out and gives it sufficient depth (for now!).
